Erik S. has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Erik is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Commercial Paper Trading at Samuel A. Ramirez & Co., Inc. since April 2023. Prior to this role, Erik worked at R. Seelaus & Co., Inc. as the Executive Vice President of Money Market Sales and Trading from November 2019 to March 2023. Erik also gained extensive experience at BNY Mellon, where they held the positions of Vice President of Corporate Bond ETF and Money Markets Trader from September 2015 to November 2019, and Global Markets Analytics from March 2012 to August 2015. Before joining BNY Mellon, Erik worked as a Proprietary Equity Trader at WTS Proprietary Trading Group - Boston from October 2011 to February 2012.

Erik S. completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics from Quinnipiac University - School of Business between 2006 and 2010. Erik is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Physics at The City University of New York, with an expected completion date in 2025.

In terms of additional certifications, Erik obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in August 2019. Erik also holds the Series 79 certification from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority), which they obtained in October 2018, and the Series 55 certification, which they obtained in March 2015. Erik had previously obtained the Series 56 certification, but it has since expired. Erik is also planning to obtain the Series 63 and Series 7 certifications, although the specific dates of completion are currently unknown.
