Christopher Swearingen

Christopher Swearingen serves as the Vice President of Biometrics at Biosplice Therapeutics, focusing on innovative small-molecule therapeutics linked to alternative pre-mRNA splicing. Previously, Christopher held multiple roles at Samumed, LLC, including Vice President of Clinical Outcomes and Analytics and Senior Director of Biostatistics. Christopher's academic career includes significant positions at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where Christopher worked as an Associate Professor and collaborated on clinical trials and health outcomes research. Early experience includes contributions to the National Institutes of Health as a member of the NIDDK O'Brien Center Review Panel and research roles at the Medical University of South Carolina and Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Christopher earned a Ph.D. in Biostatistics from the Medical University of South Carolina and a B.A. in Psychology from Belmont University.
