Lakshmana Perumal (LP)

LP has a wide range of work experience spanning several roles and industries. LP started their career as an Engineer R&D and Quality at Bharat Electronics in Pune, India from May 1995 to June 1999. LP then joined Ramco Systems in June 2001 and held various positions including Senior Product Executive, Product Specialist, Business Consultant, Manager of Projects, and Principal Consultant until December 2011. During this time, LP played a significant role in developing new product variants and frameworks for specific industries and was instrumental in conceptualizing and developing a cloud-based solution for AT&T.

After a brief period as the Head of Services Practice at Ramco from May 2011 to December 2011, LP moved to the US and worked as a Principal Consultant for Ramco from September 2006 to April 2011. LP then became the Head of India Implementations and Global Implementation Support - ERP from June 2018 to May 2019, where they managed a team of consultants and introduced a new concept of a Center of Excellence (CoE) to improve the quality and efficiency of implementations.

LP's most recent role is with Samunnati, where they began as an ERP and Technology Products Leader in May 2022. In this position, LP works in the Technology Team to translate the organization's vision into a technology product that promotes synergy among stakeholders and supports the cause of making markets work for small holder farmers.

Lakshmana Perumal (LP) has a diverse education history. Lakshmana completed a Post Graduate Program in Machine Learning at Great Lakes Institute of Management from 2018 to 2019. Prior to this, they earned a PGDBA degree in Systems and Finance from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, between 1999 and 2001. LP also holds a B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering, with a focus on Electro Chemical Engineering, from Central Electrochemical Research Institute, where they studied from 1991 to 1995.

Furthermore, LP completed their higher secondary education at TVS from 1989 to 1991, specializing in Maths and Science.

Additionally, LP has obtained several certifications to enhance their skillset. These include "Leading without Formal Authority" from LinkedIn, obtained in May 2018, and a certification in "General" from SoloLearn, obtained in January 2018. Lakshmana also obtained a certification in "Solution Selling" in December 2011, though the institution from which they received this certification is unknown.
