Kamil Soliwoda

Kamil Soliwoda began their work experience in 2018 as a Junior NLP Research Engineer at Samurai Labs. Kamil then advanced to the role of NLP Research Engineer and eventually became the Head of Symbolic AI in June 2021. In their current position, Kamil is responsible for implementing strategies to prevent and respond to cyberviolence, sexual predators, suicidality, and crisis situations. Kamil engages in conversations to diffuse aggression, blocks violent content and users, and reduces moderator load. These efforts have resulted in a 50% decrease in cyberviolence and the promotion of healthy dialog. In addition to their work at Samurai Labs, Kamil also holds a role as a Lecturer at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology since September 2019.

Kamil Soliwoda's education history starts with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a focus on Teaching, which they obtained from the University of Gdansk between 2013 and 2016. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in English with a specialization in Natural Language Processing at the same university from 2016 to 2018. Later, in 2022 to 2023, they pursued a postgraduate degree in IT Business Management at AGH University of Krakow.
