Michał Marcińczuk

Michał Marcińczuk, PhD has a diverse range of experience in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP). Michał is currently the Business Owner of CodeNLP Michał Marcińczuk, starting from September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Samurai Labs as an ML NLP Team Lead / NLP Research Engineer, contributing to the design and implementation of NLP tools for text processing in Polish and English.

Before joining Samurai Labs, Michał Marcińczuk served as an Assistant Professor at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, where they also worked as a Research Assistant. During their time at the university, they participated in the NEKST project and led task no 5, focusing on developing an information extraction system using supervised methods for Polish.

Michał has also gained experience as a Scientific article reviewer at MDPI and served as the Interim Resource Manager at the Special Interest Group on Slavic Natural Language Processing (SIGSLAV). Additionally, they worked as an NLP Research Engineer at Sages, a Senior Software Developer at Business Online Services Sp. z o.o., and an AI Research Scientist at Extreme Robotics. Earlier in their career, they held positions as an NLP Specialist at Lingventa Sp. z o.o. and Fido.ai.

Through their various roles, Michał Marcińczuk has demonstrated expertise in NLP, encompassing areas such as text processing, information extraction, and artificial intelligence.

Michał Marcińczuk, PhD began their education in 2002 at the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, where they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science. Michał completed this degree in 2007. During their time at the university, Michał Marcińczuk also obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science, which they achieved from 2007 to 2013. In 2006 and 2007, they attended the Blekinge Institute of Technology and obtained a Master's degree in Software Engineering. Additionally, Michał Marcińczuk has obtained certifications in AI and coding speed from CodinGame, although the precise dates of obtaining these certifications are not specified.
