Mauricio Costa has an extensive professional background in the digital marketing and technology industry. In 2005, they co-founded and served as director of Apple Distributor - GreenMax International. From 2009 to 2011, they were the CMO of Publicis Groupe. In 2011, they co-founded and served as Pro Bono Director of APADi - Digital Agency Association of São Paulo. From 2012 to 2014, they were the President of Attitude Digital. From 2014 to 2017, they served as CEO of GroupM - MediaCom Brazil. In 2017, they co-founded and served as Director of Pede Sabores. From 2019 to 2020, they were Vice-president - Media, Ad Sales & Partnerships of DAZN. In 2021, they founded and served as Publisher of CANALM. Currently, they are the General Manager of Samy Alliance.
Mauricio Costa obtained their MBA from Buffalo State University in 2011, with a focus in the School of Management. In 2009, they obtained a Pós degree from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas in Marketing & Serviços. In 2000, they attended BSP - Business School São Paulo for an Executive Business English program. From 1988 to 1992, they obtained a B. Sc. in Social Communication (Bachelor in Advertising/ Marketing) from FIAM - Faculdades Integradas Alcantara Machado, with a focus in Marketing. From 1987 to 1990, they attended FAAP - Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado for a B. Sc. in Economics, which they did not complete. Additionally, they obtained two certifications in 2021 and 2020 from the University of Toronto and HarvardX - An Online Learning Initiative by Harvard University through edX, respectively.
