Roui Israel

Roui Kamienowicz currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Education at Samy's Camera, a role held since July 2014, focusing on special events, lectures, and various photography courses. Previously, Roui served as a Commissioner for the City of Malibu from December 2013 to January 2019, advising the Malibu City Council, and held the position of President at Advocates for Malibu Public Schools from January 2016 to January 2017. Roui's legal experience includes working as an Attorney at Trope and Trope from 2003 to 2007, and as a White House Intern at the White House Council on Environmental Policy in 1997. Educational credentials include a JD in Law from Harvard Law School (1999-2002), a BA in Environmental Studies and Public Policy from UCLA (1995-1999), and attendance at the University of Nice in 1995, along with a high school diploma from William Howard Taft High School (1991-1995).
