James Waters

James Waters is the current Director at the San Antonio Symphony. Prior to this, they were the Group Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Frost Bank from January 2018 to July 2021. James has also worked as a Partner at Haynes and Boone, LLP from January 2000 to December 2018 and as an Associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP from January 1996 to December 2000.

James Waters attended Harvard Law School, where they earned a J.D., and Columbia University in the City of New York, where they earned a B.A. in International Relations and Comparative Politics. Prior to that, they attended Fountain Valley School, where they earned a bachelor's degree in arts.
