Nicole Pompei

Nicole Pompei is a dedicated music educator and talented bassoonist with extensive experience in performance and instruction. Currently serving as a Private Bassoon Instructor and Reed Vendor since February 2018, Nicole also works as a Substitute Bassoonist for the San Antonio Symphony and has previously collaborated with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra in the same capacity. With a background as Operations Manager for YOSA and experience as a Marine Corps Musician and Combat Correspondent Reservist, Nicole has demonstrated leadership in both musical and administrative roles. Educational accomplishments include a Master’s degree in Music Teacher Education from Boston University and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
