Aaron Faris

Aaron Faris has extensive experience in open records management and legal support. Currently serving as an Open Records Analyst at San Antonio Water System since August 2019, Aaron oversees the open records process and coordinates multiple projects simultaneously. Prior to this role, Aaron worked at The University of Texas at San Antonio for 13 years, initially as an Open Records Manager and later as a Legal Assistant, where responsibilities included managing open records operations and supporting attorneys in various legal matters. Aaron also held paralegal positions at several law firms, focusing on intellectual property, litigation, and health care law. Aaron holds a Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
