Ella Painter has over 30 years of experience in education and purchasing. From August 2016 until retirement, Ella served as a Middle School History Teacher at San Carlos School District, specializing in 7th grade Medieval History and 8th grade U.S. History. Prior to this role, Ella worked as a Paraeducator in Special Education at the same district from 2009 to 2016. Ella's professional background also includes serving as a Purchasing Manager at Genelabs Technologies from 1985 to 1991 and as a Buyer at UCSF from 1976 to 1982. Ella holds a Teacher Credential in Secondary Education and Teaching from Notre Dame de Namur University, obtained between 2014 and 2016, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Sonoma State University, earned from 1985 to 1988.
