Mindy Shelton is an experienced educator and administrator currently serving as Principal at San Carlos School District since August 2016, following a prior role as Assistant Principal. Shelton's career in education began at Belmont-Redwood Shores School District, where tenure included positions as Health Educator/Welfare Coordinator and School Climate Facilitator from 1995 to 2016. Shelton holds a Master of Arts in Elementary and Middle School Administration/Principalship from Notre Dame de Namur University, completed in 2013, along with a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from the same institution in 1995, and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, earned in 1994.
