Joanna Davies

Joanna Davies has extensive experience in the biomedical research field. Joanna served as the Chief Executive Officer at the San Diego Biomedical Research Institute starting in 2014. Prior to that, they were the Director of Scientific Affairs at the Torrey Pines Institute for Molecular Studies from 2009 to 2014. Joanna also held the position of Member at the same institute from 2001 to 2014. Joanna'scareer began at The Scripps Research Institute where they served as an Assistant Professor from 1998 to 2001.

Joanna Davies completed their B.Sc. in Cellular Pathology at the University of Bristol, UK from 1979 to 1982. Joanna then pursued further education at the University of Oxford, UK, where they obtained a D.Phil. (Ph.D.) in Immunology from 1982 to 1986.
