Aisha Pope

Program Director, FFAST at San Diego Center for Children

Aisha Pope, LCSW, serves as the Director of Foster Care Services at the San Diego Center for Children, overseeing the outpatient psychotherapy program for 250 foster youth annually, managing operations, budget, and staff training. Additionally, Aisha holds a role as TriChair of the Birth of Brilliance Conference and Cultural Fair, advocating for the recognition of children's talents and intelligence. Aisha is the author of "My Brother - Autism - And Me," and co-founded Roots & Wings Consulting, providing therapy and consulting services using a strengths-based approach. A Certified Positive Discipline Trainer, Aisha has extensive experience with family and residential mental health services, including previous roles as a Clinical Supervisor and Family Services Coordinator in various organizations. Aisha holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from San Diego State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University-Dominguez Hills.
