Vivian Pate has work experience dating back to 2020. Vivian began their career as a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee at The Preuss School UC San Diego. Vivian then worked as a Learning Resources Specialist Assistant at The Preuss School from 2015 to 2021. In 2021, they joined Amanda Torre Counseling as a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. Most recently, they became a TFC Clinical Lead at San Diego Center for Children in 2022.
Vivian Pate holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from UC San Diego.

Founded in 1887, the San Diego Center for Children is the oldest children's 501(c)(3) nonprofit in San Diego. The Center provides evidence-based therapeutic, educational, foster care and transition services to children and families struggling with mental, emotional and behavioral disorders.
