John J. Murphy is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in executive support and human resource management. Currently serving as the Executive Assistant (Confidential) to the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Business Services at San Diego Community College District since October 2018, Murphy has a proven track record of streamlining HR functions and facilitating educational initiatives. Prior experience includes significant roles within the US Navy, where Murphy was a Human Resources Business Partner and Senior Executive Assistant to various high-ranking officials, managing complex schedules and implementing HR strategies.
