Nina Lakhani

Nina Lakhani is a seasoned professional in victim advocacy and social services with a strong background in homeless outreach and supportive housing. Currently serving as a Victim Advocate at the San Diego County District Attorney's Office since April 2023, Nina previously held positions including Permanent Supportive Housing Retention Specialist at Hope Through Housing Foundation and Regional Resource Coordinator for the Regional Task Force on Homelessness. With experience as Supervisor of Outreach Services and Lead Intake Coordinator at Veteran Villages of San Diego, as well as Intake Coordinator and Case Manager at People Assisting The Homeless, Nina has built a solid foundation in case management and resource coordination. Nina holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Public Administration from San Diego State University and an Associate's degree in Social and Behavioral Science from Coastline College, along with additional sociology studies. Nina is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work at California State University San Marcos.
