Tanya Sierra

Tanya Sierra has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Tanya began their career as a Student Worker at the National Labor Relations Board, Region 27 in 1987, where they worked until 1990. Tanya then moved on to become a Staff Writer at the Denver Rocky Mountain News from 1998 to 2000. After that, they worked as a Staff Writer at The Press-Enterprise from 2000 to 2004. In 2005, they joined The San Diego Union-Tribune as a Staff Writer, and they remained there until 2011. During their time at The San Diego Union-Tribune, they held the position of Assistant Director of Communications and Public Affairs Officer at the San Diego County District Attorney's Office.

Tanya Sierra has a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from National University, which they obtained between 2016 and 2017. Prior to that, they earned their B.A. in Journalism from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
