Melanie Baier currently serves as the Charter School Coordinator at the San Diego County Office of Education since April 2020. Prior to this role, Melanie held various leadership positions including Lower School Head at La Jolla Country Day School and Principal of the School of Grammar at Eagle Ridge Academy. Additional experience includes roles as Assistant Charter School Director at Audubon Charter Schools and Lower School Head at Wardlaw-Hartridge School. Melanie began a career in education as a Teacher and Administrative Intern at Mounds Park Academy, following early teaching positions in various schools. Melanie's educational qualifications include a K-12 Principal License Certificate and an M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction, alongside a B.S. in Elementary Education.
