Brendan Reed

Brendan Reed currently serves as the Senior Director of Operational Planning & Readiness at the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority, a role held since May 2015, where previous positions included Director of Airport Planning & Environmental Affairs and Director of Environmental Affairs. Brendan has also contributed as a Board Member of Cleantech San Diego from June 2015 to May 2023, supporting the region's cleantech economy and smart cities initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as Environmental Resource Manager for the City of Chula Vista, Extension Instructor at the University of California at San Diego, and Environmental Scientist with the California Bay Delta Authority. Brendan's earlier roles also encompassed Research Associate at the SDSU Research Foundation and Staff Biologist at Santa Monica Baykeeper. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Ecology from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Richmond.
