Vanessa MacHin

Vanessa Machin is a Public Art Coordinator at the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority, responsible for coordinating the design of public art commissions and performance spaces for the New Terminal 1, managing a $10 million budget. Previously, Vanessa served as the Lead Communications Specialist for the Rainforest Art Project, overseeing public art initiatives and creating educational curricula. Additional experience includes roles at Design for America, Fair Start Movement, UCSD Design Lab, and the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, focusing on research, branding, and communications. Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and Communications from UC San Diego, with a specialization in Design through Cognitive Science.
