Karl Horcasitas

Karl Horcasitas has a diverse work experience. Karl started their career in 2017 as an Academic Tutor at San Diego Learning Ctr, where they provided one-on-one and group tutoring to K-12 students in various subjects, including STEM topics and language arts. In 2018, they joined the San Diego County Sheriff's Department as a Student Worker, where they worked on projects related to the NetRMS Records Management System and custom SSRS report development. Karl also conducted on-site installations and developed applications for internal licensing and records units. In 2022, they transitioned to the role of an Information Technology Specialist in the same department.

Karl Horcasitas pursued their higher education from 2017 to 2021 at San Diego State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering. Additionally, they obtained a certification in the California Law Enforcement Telecommunications System from the California Department of Justice in August 2021.
