Mark C. has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Mark started their career in 2011 as a Client Support Supervisor for the 792d Intelligence Support Squadron in the United States Air Force, where they maintained weapon system uptime and provided ISR support. Mark then moved on to become a Client Systems Supervisor for the 627th Communications Squadron, where they managed the trouble ticket database and communication mission support on the JBLM Enterprise Network.
In 2014, Mark became the Section Chief of the Cyber C2 Cell in the 627th Communications Squadron, managing a tiger team on a $101M Air Force network. Mark also served as the NCOIC of Quality Assurance and managed the unit's Self-Inspection Assessment program. Later, they became the Section Chief of Cyber System Liaison and supervised 25 cyber technicians while providing IT support for the Joint Base Lewis-McChord Enterprise Network.
In 2016, Mark joined the Defense Threat Reduction Agency as a C4 Systems Manager, where they directed Information Integration & Technical Services for the East Arms Control Gateway. Mark also oversaw the network infrastructure authentication and Life Cycle Management for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency-Japan.
Most recently, in 2019, Mark joined the United States Air Force as an Air Force Management Inspection/Cyber Systems Inspector at the Department of the Air Force Inspection Agency. In this role, they led and executed Management & Unit Effectiveness Inspections on Department of the Air Force Higher Headquarters organizations.
Mark's most current role is as an Information Technology Engineer at the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, where they are responsible for designing, developing, analyzing, implementing, and maintaining software, hardware, and multi-level systems for designated departments. Mark also manages software and hardware inventories and ensures data security and protection from computer viruses.
Mark C. pursued their first degree, Electronics Communication Engineering, at Mapúa University from 1997 to 1999. Following that, they attended the Community College of the Air Force from 2010 to 2011, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Information Technology. In 2020, Mark enrolled in Western Governors University and is currently working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, which is expected to be completed in 2023.
In addition to their formal education, Mark has also obtained several certifications. In April 2013, they earned the CompTIA A+ ce Certification and CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA. In May 2020, they acquired the Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: SharePoint certification from New Horizons Computer Learning Centers. Mark is currently pursuing the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the United States Air Force, with an expected completion date in February 2020.
