Jason Grubb

Jason Grubb is an experienced soccer coach specializing in goalkeeper development. Currently serving as the 1st Team Goalkeeper Coach for San Diego FC since January 2025 and as a Goalkeeper Coach for the U.S. U-20 Men's National Team since February 2016, Jason has collaborated with senior coaching staff, planned innovative training sessions, and contributed to the development of prominent goalkeepers such as Gabriel Slonina. Previous roles include Head of Goalkeeping at IMG Academy and Assistant Coach at Quinnipiac University, along with significant positions at Austin FC and Houston Dynamo, where Jason enhanced goalkeeper technical and tactical skills. As a Coach Educator Instructor for the United Soccer Association, Jason has delivered comprehensive coaching qualifications and presentations at major conferences, promoting best practices in goalkeeping. Key achievements include representing U.S. Soccer at the 2021 Revelations Cup and identifying and mentoring successful professional goalkeepers.
