Jonathan Herrera has extensive experience in public administration and homelessness policy, currently serving as Vice President of Administration for the San Diego Housing Commission since September 2018. In this role, Jonathan has also held positions such as Director of the Homeless Innovations Department and Director of Operations for Operation Shelter to Home. Prior to joining the San Diego Housing Commission, Jonathan served as a Senior Homelessness Policy Advisor and Director of Public Safety & Neighborhood Services in the Office of Mayor Kevin L. Faulconer from December 2014 to September 2018. Earlier experience includes serving as District Director for the Office of Assemblymember Marie Waldron from December 2012 to December 2014. Jonathan holds an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration from San Diego Mesa College and a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration from San Diego State University.
