Paul Morris

Paul Morris, MPA, PMP has a diverse and extensive work experience. Paul currently holds two roles at the San Diego Housing Commission since 2016, serving as the Director of the Project Management Office and the Portfolio Project Administrator.

Prior to this, Paul worked as a Contractual Professor at San Diego State University from 2005 to 2018. During this time, they also worked at the City of San Diego as an Organizational Effectiveness Specialist and Project Manager from 2015 to 2016, where they played a crucial role in implementing an SAP Enterprise Asset Management solution.

Paul has also gained experience as the Director of Client Services & Senior Project Manager at Learning Evolution from 2013 to 2015, focusing on project management and business process development. Before that, they served as a Project Manager & Learning Leader at Scripps Health in 2012.

With a long tenure starting from 1991, Paul has worked at the City of San Diego as a Project Manager and Educator until 2012, contributing to various projects and educational initiatives. Additionally, they worked at Qualcomm for a brief period in 2008 as a Project Manager and at TriTech Software Systems in 2007 also as a Project Manager.

Paul Morris, MPA, PMP has a diverse education history. In 1985, they obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Community Recreation, Management and Leadership/Human Resource from St. Joseph's University New York. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Public Administration from San Diego State University, completing it between 1991 and 1993. In 2001, they obtained a Certificate in Project Management from San Diego State University's College of Extended Studies. To further enhance their professional qualifications, Paul Morris also obtained the prestigious PMP certification from the Project Management Institute in September 2005.
