Brian Pugmire

Brian Pugmire is a seasoned pediatric radiologist with extensive experience in various healthcare settings. Since July 2021, Brian has served as a Pediatric Radiologist at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and as a Partner Radiologist at San Diego Imaging Medical Group. Additionally, Brian occupies the role of Voluntary Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California, San Diego - School of Medicine. Prior to these positions, Brian was a Partner and President at WISHON RADIOLOGICAL MEDICAL GROUP, INC, and worked as a Pediatric Radiologist at Valley Children's Healthcare. Brian's earlier career included a Clinical Fellowship in Pediatric Radiology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and residency training at Massachusetts General Hospital, where Brian was the Chief Resident in Radiology. Brian holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from UC San Diego School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from UC San Diego.

San Diego Imaging also owns and operates four outpatient imaging centers in Chula Vista, Escondido, Kearny Mesa and Oceanside. Our physicians are a progressive group of radiologists; the largest private practice group of board certified radiologists in San Diego County. Most of our physicians are fellowship trained sub-specialists in each major area of imaging. Our physicians have the experience, training, and dedication to meet the health needs of the San Diego Community.
