Chacho Herman

Chacho Herman has extensive experience in the museum sector, currently serving as the Director of Earned Income at The San Diego Museum of Art since March 2014, where responsibilities include managing retail and wholesale operations, product development, and admissions management. Additionally, Chacho is an active Board Member of the Museum Store Association, where the role has evolved to Second Vice President, with plans to serve as First Vice President in May 2025 and President in 2026. Chacho has previously contributed to the Aspire Independent Review Board, ensuring the protection of human research participants, and held various positions within the Museum Store Association, including Secretary and Director at Large. Chacho began a career as a DJ at KCR from 1984 to 1992 and holds a degree from San Diego State University, obtained in 1988.
