Paul Murphey

Paul Murphey is an accomplished paleontologist currently serving as President and CEO of Paleo Resource Specialists, specializing in paleontological resource research, mitigation, management, and consulting services using unmanned aerial systems and photogrammetry. Paul has held prominent roles as a Research Associate at both the San Diego Natural History Museum and the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. Prior experience includes Senior Principal and Business Center Practice Leader at Stantec, Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer at Paleo Solutions, and Principal Paleontologist at SWCA Environmental Consultants. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Geological Sciences with an emphasis on paleontology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
