Ryan Romes

Ryan Romes, THRP, currently serves as a Human Resources Business Partner at San Diego State University since January 2024. Additionally, Ryan is the President & CEO of Semor Valley Drone Services, which focuses on capturing video and photography for various sectors. Previous roles include Human Resources Director at Golden Acorn Casino | Travel Center and Associate Director of Human Resources at OWB PACKERS LLC. Ryan has extensive experience in human resources, having served as a Human Resources Business Partner at BHE Renewables, LLC, and as Human Resources Director at Primordia LLC. A significant portion of Ryan's career was spent in the U.S. Navy, holding various positions including Force Career Counselor and Senior Chief Navy Career Counselor, overseeing career management programs for thousands of Sailors across the Pacific region. Ryan's educational background includes attendance at Lake Washington from 1990 to 1993.
