Erick Ochoa

Erick Ochoa is a skilled professional with extensive experience in software engineering and development. Currently a Founding Member at San Diego Tech Hub since April 2019, Erick previously held a Software Engineer position at Highlight from September 2021 to July 2024, and worked as a Full Stack Developer at Zonda between January 2020 and September 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Systems Developer at Open Source Maker Labs, where contributions involved designing experiments for edge computing platforms for Department of Defense clients, and as an Undergraduate Researcher, leading projects focused on automated nanogrids and high-altitude payload launches. Erick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from California State University San Marcos, earned in 2018.
