Karla Sanchez

Karla Sanchez is a Senior Engineer Technician at San Diego County Water Authority, where since November 2015, responsibilities have included overseeing Quality Control and Quality Assurance for construction projects and coordinating employee growth and development programs. Previously, Karla worked as a Civil Engineer at KIEWIT Infrastructure West Co., contributing to the I-405 Sepulveda Pass Widening Project through construction management and cost engineering. Early career experience includes an engineering internship at West Basin Municipal Water District, where project monitoring and analysis for water resource projects were key duties, as well as serving in various support roles with organizations such as the City of Inglewood and the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission. Karla holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California State University, Long Beach.
