Mark Brudney has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mark began their career as an American Sign Language (ASL) Teacher at San Dieguito Union High School District in 2019. Prior to that, they worked as an Employment Services Manager at Alternatives, Inc. for two years, overseeing an employment program for job seekers with disabilities. Mark also worked as an Employment Specialist at Lexington School and Center for the Deaf, where they focused on marketing and community outreach to promote hiring individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Additionally, Mark worked as an ASL Private Tutor at WyzAnt Tutoring, an Adjunct Professor at Middlesex County College, and a Regional Sales Manager at CSDVRS, gaining experience in education, sales, and outreach. Mark also served as a Regional Manager at Viable Inc., where they expanded the customer base and provided technical support. Mark's earlier experiences include working as a Sprint Relay CapTel Specialist at Sprint and as an ASL Teacher at Vista Murrieta High School.
Mark Brudney completed their education at several institutions over the years. In 1993, they attended Gallaudet University and pursued an undeclared degree in Communications until 1995. Following this, they enrolled at California State University, Northridge, where they studied Communications with a focus on Public Relations from 1995 to 1998. In 2005, Mark pursued Secondary Credentials in American Sign Language at California State University San Marcos, completing the program in 2006. Recently, in 2021, they returned to Gallaudet University and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Masled, which they completed in 2022.
