Martin Mayhew

Martin Mayhew is a seasoned professional in football operations and player personnel with extensive experience in the National Football League (NFL). Currently serving as the VP of Player Personnel and Sr. Personnel Executive for the San Francisco 49ers since February 2017, Mayhew's prior roles include Director of Football Operations/Special Projects for the New York Football Giants and Executive Vice President and General Manager for the Detroit Lions, where leadership improved organizational efficiency from 2009 to 2015. Additional experience spans various positions within the Detroit Lions, including Sr. Vice President of Football Administration and Legal Affairs, and Sr. Director of Football Administration. Mayhew's early career includes playing as a defensive back for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Washington Redskins, and Buffalo Bills, alongside a legal education from Georgetown University Law Center and an undergraduate degree from Florida State University.
