Amy S. Williams

VP, Philanthropy at San Francisco AIDS Foundation

Amy S. Williams is the Senior Director of Development at San Francisco AIDS Foundation, where she is responsible for the philanthropic engagement of individuals, corporate and institutional partners, and fundraising event participants. She leads the Development team to accomplish SFAF’s annual fundraising goals and advises the Board of Directors and CEO on strategies to ensure the long-term financial stability of the foundation.

Amy has more than 20 years of experience leading fundraising efforts for social justice organizations, and has raised millions of dollars in the nonprofit sector. Prior to joining SFAF, Amy served as the Director of Development at Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette, where she was instrumental in creating the organization’s post-Roe strategy and nearly doubled philanthropic support of the organization. She has also served as the Director of Development and Communications at Cascade AIDS Project in Portland, and in development roles at Portland Opera, Portland Children’s Museum, RaphaelHouse of Portland, B-Word Media, and Equity Foundation. Amy received her BA in English Literature from the University of Oregon.
