Armond M. Esmaili, MD, currently serves as an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the UCSF Department of Medicine and holds the position of Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCSF Health, where responsibilities include overseeing the Department of Neurological Surgery's quality and safety enterprise. Notable leadership roles include founding and directing the Code CARE Team, medical director of the Hospital Medicine Unit-Based Leadership Team, and inaugural director of the respiratory isolation unit during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are soon expanding to offer assisted-living and memory-care suites, and a community-based network of services and programs for older adults.
