Erik Zepeda-Flores is an experienced engagement coordinator with a background in community engagement and environmental education. Currently serving in the San Francisco Environment Department since May 2023, Erik previously held the role of Community Engagement Program Manager at the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, where efforts included managing community outreach and interpretive programming. Earlier experience as a Community Organizer for The Trust for Public Land involved collaboration with various organizations and the development of the Equitable Development Plan for India Basin Shoreline Park. Additional roles at Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy and Education Outside focused on environmental education and outdoor science instruction. Erik holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography/Environmental Studies from UCLA, where involvement spanned administrative support, social media relations, and promotion of sustainability initiatives.
