Erik Welch

Erik Welch currently serves as Chief Experience Officer at SF Fire Credit Union, a position held since April 2022. Prior to this role, Erik was the VP of Operations Optimization at Patelco Credit Union from March 2013 to March 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing Organizational Change Management, Fraud Prevention, and Robotics Automation. Earlier experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer at Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union, managing various channels including Lending and Risk Management from September 2010 to March 2013, and holding the position of Senior Vice President at Comerica Bank, where management focused on extensive banking center growth in the San Francisco Bay and Arizona markets from September 1998 to September 2009. Erik began a career in banking with responsibilities in Corporate Compliance and Risk Management across diverse lines of business. Education was completed at the University of California, Berkeley, earning a BA in History.
