Luis Hernandez

Luis Hernandez is an experienced educator currently serving as Lead Mentor Teacher at San Francisco Friends School since June 2020. Prior to this role, Luis held positions as a 3rd Grade Associate Teacher at Prospect Sierra School and as Lead Teacher in both Humanities and Math for Aim High's 6th and 7th grade programs. Luis has also contributed to the educational sector through roles such as Admissions Associate at The Nueva School and substitute teaching at Prospect Sierra. In addition to teaching, Luis has held significant positions in development and program coordination, including development management at Katherine Delmar Burke School and program coordination at the Hispanic Scholarship Fund. Luis holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of the Pacific and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from Brown University.
