Ernie Tovar

Ernie Tovar has extensive experience in operations management and community leadership, currently serving as the Community Lead Operations/Hospitality at WeWork Bay Area since May 2013, where responsibilities include fostering a welcoming environment and enhancing member satisfaction through community initiatives. Tovar also has a significant background in the arts, performing as a singer for the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus and the Golden Gate Men's Chorus. Previous roles include Director of Operations at The Transgender District, where Tovar focused on creating inclusive workspaces and managing vendor relationships, as well as supervisory positions in retail, such as Retail Sales Supervisor for the San Francisco Giants and Retail Store Manager at Pet Food Express. Tovar holds an Associate's degree in Music Performance from Citrus College and a high school diploma from Nogales High School.
