Jenna Casey has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jenna began their career as a Public Affairs Intern at Planned Parenthood of Michigan in 2007. From 2009 to 2010, they served as an Intern at the NGO Committee on the Status of Women (NGO CSW/NY). In 2012, Jenna joined Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County as a Contract Communications Specialist. Jenna also interned at the Franklin McKinley Children's Initiative during their time there. In 2013, they transitioned to Mission Graduates, where they held various roles, including Development and Volunteer Manager, Community Engagement Manager, and Director of Communications. Most recently, Jenna is employed at the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation, where they have held the positions of Communications Manager and Associate Director of Communications since 2019.
Jenna Casey has a strong educational background in community organizing and women's studies. Jenna completed their Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in Community Organizing at the University of Michigan from 2007 to 2008. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Women's Studies from the same university, studying from 2003 to 2007.
In addition to their formal education, Jenna has obtained certifications in various fields. In September 2019, they completed the "SP2PennX: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): A Strategic Approach" course at the University of Pennsylvania. In August 2018, they also completed the Digital Marketing Circuit certification from General Assembly. These certifications indicate their commitment to continuous learning and expanding their knowledge beyond their formal education.
