Amy Tovar

SVP & General Counsel at San Francisco Giants

Amy Tovar has a diverse range of work experience. Amy is currently working as a Lecturer at Stanford Law School. Previously, they held various roles at the San Francisco Giants, including SVP & General Counsel, Vice President & Deputy General Counsel, and Associate General Counsel. Prior to that, they were appointed by President Barack Obama as an Associate General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Transportation. Amy also worked as an Attorney at Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP, specializing in complex civil litigation. Amy began their career as a Law Clerk to Hon. Joel M. Flaum at the U.S. Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit.

Amy Tovar obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and American Studies from Stanford University in 1999. Amy later pursued a Doctor of Law (JD) degree at Stanford Law School, which they completed in 2003.
