Rick Mears

Vice President, Guest Services at San Francisco Giants

Rick Mears has held various leadership positions throughout their career. Rick is currently serving as the Chief Business Development Officer at BioSaphe since March 2019. Prior to this, Rick held the same role at BioSaphe starting from February 2019. Before joining BioSaphe, Rick worked as the Vice President of Guest Services at the San Francisco Giants Baseball Club since 1999. In this role, they were responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and developing part-time staff to deliver world-class guest service at AT&T Park. Additionally, Rick assisted with training day of game staff at the Giants spring training ballpark. From 1996 to 1999, Rick served as the Director of Guest Services at the San Jose Sharks. Prior to that, from 1991 to 1996, they were the General Manager of Recreation Hall and Recreation Pool at the University of California at Davis.

Rick Mears earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Science from Thiel College, where they attended from 1971 to 1975. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Recreation Management from Brigham Young University, completing their studies from 1979 to 1981.
