Tamsen Staniford

Tamsen Staniford has extensive experience in healthcare and customer service. Currently, Tamsen serves as the UM Nurse Manager for Prior Authorizations at San Francisco Health Plan since June 2015, having progressed through various roles including Utilization Management Nurse Supervisor and Utilization Management Nurse. In addition to this role, Tamsen has been a Licensed Acupuncturist since March 2008, providing acupuncture and health education in diverse settings. Prior experience includes roles as a Prior Authorization Nurse at Central California Alliance for Health and a Customer Service Representative at City Box Office. Tamsen's clinical training includes student nursing rotations at multiple respected healthcare facilities. Tamsen holds a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Merritt College.
