Wayne P.

Wayne P. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Wayne started their career in 2014 as a Medical Director at San Francisco Health Plan. In 2018, they co-founded Verbal Voice Technologies and served as the Chief Medical Officer. Wayne also worked at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. as a Medical Director and Core Team Lead in product portfolio development. Wayne P. has served as an advisor for Audaire Health, a technology start-up called Home Dots, and the Wharton School. Wayne has been involved as a board member for San Francisco Village, the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, and Semler Scientific. Furthermore, they have also held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Semler Scientific and served as a Medical Director at Banner Health Plans.

Wayne P. has pursued education in various fields. Wayne holds an MBA in Management from The Wharton School and an MD in Medicine from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Wayne has also earned a PhD in Molecular Biology from The Graduate Center, City University of New York. Prior to these achievements, Wayne P. received a BA in Biology from The Johns Hopkins University. Additionally, they participated in the Leading by Design Fellows Program at the California College of the Arts.
