Michael Robert

Michael Robert has extensive experience in airport operations and safety, currently serving as the AirTrain Safety & Security Manager at San Francisco International Airport since May 1991. In this role, Michael oversees compliance with contractual obligations and develops safety and security plans aligned with California Public Utilities Commission requirements. Previous positions held at San Francisco International Airport include Aviation Security Manager, focusing on compliance with federal security standards, and Airport Operations Supervisor, managing a team to ensure safety in aircraft movement areas. Michael's early experience includes a role as Operations Supervisor at Wayne County Airport Authority after interning at Detroit Metro Airport, as well as volunteer work with the American Red Cross, supporting disaster preparedness and recovery efforts. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Technology from Western Michigan University.
