Tim Carlisle

Tim Carlisle has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and project management. Tim has worked as a Project Director, Cybersecurity at San Francisco International Airport since 2015. In this role, they have been involved in various projects such as Disaster Service Worker, Security Assessments, and the Cybersecurity Awareness Program. Prior to this, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at Diablo Valley College, teaching Windows 2012 Server Administration and Cisco technology. Tim has also served as a Contract Chief Information Security Officer at Contra Costa County, where they developed and managed the implementation of an incident response plan and played a key role in the development of the information security strategy. Tim has also worked as an Information Security Officer at Contra Costa County, where they were responsible for the management of the County's Information Security Program. Tim has also held the position of Project Manager at Contra Costa County, managing high-profile departments and overseeing the Information Security program. Before their career in the private sector, Tim served in the U.S. Navy as a Senior Project Director and Information Security Officer, managing national security programs and defense projects.

Tim Carlisle has an extensive education history in the field of executive leadership, information systems and technology management, business operations management, IT project management, and computer technology/computer systems technology. Tim holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Operations Management from Excelsior University, a Master's degree in Information Systems and Technology Management (Information Assurance and Security) from Capella University, a Master's Certificate in IT Project Management from The George Washington University, and a Certificate in Executive Leadership Programme from Oxford University, Said School of Business. Additionally, Tim has obtained several certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² and Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI. Tim also holds certifications in Organizational Design for Digital Transformation, CQ® Masterclass Completion, Oxford Executive Leadership Programme, Leading People and Teams, and is an American Mensa Member.
