Bijan Ahmadzadeh

Bijan Ahmadzadeh, P.E. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in construction management and project oversight. Currently serving as the Division Deputy Director of Construction Management at the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency since April 2016, Bijan oversees major capital construction projects and plays a key role in policy formulation and program planning. Prior to this, Bijan worked at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission from November 2003 to April 2016 as WSIP Regional Construction Manager, managing a significant portfolio of construction contracts totaling over $1 billion. Bijan's career also includes a role as Senior Engineer/Branch Chief at the California Department of Transportation from 1987 to 2003, with responsibilities spanning all phases of project development and stakeholder negotiations. Bijan holds a Master of Science degree in Construction Engineering & Management from San José State University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
