Gavin Chan

Gavin Chan is an operations team member at the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) since June 2023. In addition to this role, Gavin serves as a sales attendant at PROPARK LIMITED and has extensive experience in officiating sports, including basketball, as a referee for the California Basketball Officials Association and a sports referee for the Silicon Valley Sports Officials Association, among other umpiring positions. Previously, Gavin worked as a substitute teacher for the San Francisco Unified School District and a program leader at the Community Youth Center of San Francisco. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Transportation/Mobility Management from San José State University (expected July 2024), a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from San Francisco State University, and a degree in Liberal Studies from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
