Jason Chan

Jason Chan is an experienced asset management professional currently serving as the Asset Management Lead Analyst at the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) since May 2019. In this role, Jason manages asset data collection practices, implements the Transit Asset Management Plan, and oversees the Agency's State of Good Repair Policy. Prior to this, Jason held positions including Senior Analyst at SFMTA and Project Manager Assistant at the City & County of San Francisco's Department of Public Works. With a background in budget development as a Budget Officer at the California Public Utilities Commission and various analytical roles within the California Department of Transportation, Jason brings a diverse skill set in asset management, project administration, and financial analysis. Jason holds a Master's degree in Urban Planning from San José State University and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Analysis & Design from UC Irvine.
